The Charm 2-Place Incubator is a lightweight, self-contained incubator designed to heat and time all Charm ROSA lateral flow tests, including rapid antibiotic tests for milk. Built for flexibility, it is suitable for use in laboratories, dairies, farms, or even milk collections. The incubator is factory-calibrated for all standard Charm test temperatures and can be set to 40°C, 45°C, and 56°C, depending on the test type.
Once the incubator is turned on, it begins heating to the preset temperature. The orange LED indicates it is on, and the red LED flashes during heating. When the temperature is stable, the green LED turns on. Placing a ROSA strip in the incubator and closing the lid automatically starts the incubation timer. At the end of the incubation period, the incubator beeps distinctly and the LEDs flash to indicate that incubation is complete. A defined post-incubation window ensures that the strip is removed in time to prevent invalid tests.
Designed for mobile and field use, the device operates reliably at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. A color-coded temperature strip is integrated into the device for quick visual confirmation. A thermometer port is also available for official temperature verification with the Charm digital thermometer.
The 2-Place Incubator can also be connected to a computer using Charm's software to configure temperature and time settings, activate energy-saving mode (for use in trucks), or perform calibration. Its small size and low power consumption make it easy to transport and use anywhere milk needs to be tested.
With consistent temperature control, automatic timing, and rugged portability, the Charm 2-Place Incubator is an essential tool for accurate ROSA test performance in any environment.
