The Charm EZ Protect+ system is an advanced, integrated incubator and reader for Charm ROSA lateral flow tests. It is designed for rapid and reliable screening of antibiotics in raw milk, combining controlled incubation with digital, objective interpretation of test strips.

Using the integrated touchscreen, the operator easily enters sample information and inserts the ROSA strip into the appropriate channel. The system automatically recognizes the test type, selects the correct program, and fully controls temperature and incubation time. At completion, the result is displayed digitally as positive or negative, including a numerical reading value.

The EZ Protect+ supports multiple operating modes. In Incubate and Read mode, the entire process is performed internally to ensure maximum standardization. In Read Only mode, externally incubated strips can be interpreted. Automatic strip recognition prevents incorrect test selection, while integrated calibration and performance checks support consistent measurement accuracy.

The system stores comprehensive test data, including sample ID, operator ID, lot number, test type, reading value, result, and date/time. Results can be printed, exported via USB, or integrated into LIMS or quality management systems via network connection (optional Ethernet). This ensures full traceability and audit support.

The EZ Protect+ supports applications for multiple animal species, with adjustable incubation settings where required. Secure user levels allow controlled management of access rights, test channels, and system settings.
